Juts a few pictures of the things we have changed so far. More to come as we are in the process of putting carpet in the bedrooms and hallway upstairs, and getting new doors and trim upstairs. Also on the list is to get the bathtub upstairs working ( it leaks even though the people were supposed to have fixed that before we moved in), get the furnace fixed ( possible crack in the furnace causing it to make black dust come out of my vents) and build a pergola on our back porch to make some shade!! Lots to do, but it has been really fun having a house of our own to work on. Any way...here are some pictures...
A look into the life of me... just trying to figure out this crazy thing we call life.

Our house
Nick and I bought a house last june, and we have been working on it constantly since we got it. The house was really nice when we bought it, but something about having a house, no matter how nice it is, just makes you want to re-do everything. So I thought I would do some posts about the things we have changed. Here are some pictures of the house when we bought it. A few things were rather...how do I put this nicely...tacky, but like I said before, it is a nice house.
Not shown is another bedroom ( it looks the same as the bedroom with the blue stripe) and another section of the basement and a bedroom/office in the basement, and the laundry room. So those are all the before pictures I have. Nice right, just needs a little Nick and Addi touch. So since we moved in we have started all kinds of projects including replacing the back deck, painting every room upstairs, getting a new stove, getting a new washer and dryer, re decorating, taking down that terrible wall paper that was in the main floor bathroom and painting, building a fence along the drive way so Isabel can't get out of the yard, and a few other little things. We are now in the process of putting carpet upstairs, and new trim in all the rooms upstairs and new doors in all the rooms upstairs. Owning a home is a lot of fun (and expensive) , Nick and I have had a great time doing all these projects together, all though we don't always agree on things we have been able to figure it all out so far. More to come with pictures of all the things we have changed and step by step as I try not to go crazy during the big projects that we are starting upstairs...

I haven't written in a while, I guess I have just been busy, and I have hardly spent any time on the computer. Not a whole lot had happened lately. Nick just got back from a week long vacation in utah without me. It was pretty hard for me to be by myself for a week, I have never been by myself for more then a day or 2. But I have to be honest, it was a really good learning experience. The morning Nick left I really didn't think I would be able to make it through the week... literally, I felt like I couldn't survive without Nick there. I cried for a couple hours, and I just wanted to sleep until Nick came home. After the first day, I started feeling better, and the worst part ended up being how worried I was about him flying there and back. But he made it back to me safe and sound.
My job is going great, and I have never been so blessed. I have a wonderful boss, and it's great to feel appreciated at work, it's also really cool to have a boss who is a christian, and loves God so much. I have already learned so much from him, and I feel like I am growing closer to God every time I go to work.
Isabel, my puppy, has finally stopped going potty in the house... thank GOD!!! I didn't think it would ever happen! She really missed her daddy while he was gone, and was soooo excited when he got home yesterday.
Things are great with Nick and I. He has been a great husband lately, and I have been very blessed! Of course things are still hard sometimes, but it's a marriage, we knew it would be hard sometimes. We have started a Bible study group with some friends of ours and I am really thinking it will not only be good for out walk with God, but I think knowing more of Gods word will really help us become better spouses.
Well I guess thats all I have to report right now.
